Louisiana Hospital Capstone Quality Award

The Louisiana Hospital Capstone Quality Award (previously titled the Louisiana Hospital Quality Awards - see award below) recognizes Fairway Medical as one of only 24 hospitals in the state for achieving certain improvements in the quality of health care given to their patients. 
 
This award is aligned with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services' inpatient quality initiatives and recognizes hospital achievement in appropriate care for patients with diagnoses of: Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI), Heart Failure (HF), Community Acquired Pneumonia (PN) and Improvements in care related to measures outlined in the Surgical Care Improvement Project (SCIP).

The Hospital Quality Award honors Louisiana hospitals that successfully implement quality initiatives directed toward improving patient care in the hospital setting. The award recognizes Fairway Medical Surgical Hospital for actively engaging in improving surgical care.

Apex Quality Award.

The Apex award, stemming from Attributes for Patient Excellence, recognizes healthcare organizations that receive the highest level of patient satisfaction, loyalty attributes and surpass the 90th percentile of their peer's total survey results.

In the most recent year, Fairway was one of only two surgical hospital winners throughout the United States served by CTQ. Only 56 healthcare facilities were recognized for this honor. Fairway Medical earned an added distinction of being one of only eighteen repeat recipients to receive this award in three consecutive years.
